New patients: Please book a 60 minute Initial Assessment and 2-3 follow up appointments 1-2 weeks apart to ensure you get your preferred appointment times. Your follow-ups can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on how much time you prefer. If you have multiple areas to address or a more complex injury please choose a 45 or 60 minute appointment time as 30 minutes will likely not be enough time.

Your appointment time is held specially for you and this time is all about optimizing your physical health. If you need to cancel or change any of your appointments as things do come up in life, 24 hours notice is required.

Kinesiology

Kinesiologists are exercise specialists who assess the body from a movement perspective. They provide movement based sessions to help you maintain, rehabilitate, or enhance your movement. Sessions include a mix of stretching, strengthening and mobility work which can be on the mat, or with the Pilates or gym equipment

Hi, I’m Susannah. I graduated from my Physiotherapy degree in 2018 in Melbourne, Australia. With a special interest in injury recovery, digestive health, brain health, and nervous system function, I have spent the last five years taking advanced training through the Barral, Upledger, and Chikly Institutes, among others.

My treatment approach is unique in that it integrates gentle, hands-on techniques, with dry needling and movement practice to help your brain change how you move through your world. As someone who grew up with multiple sports injuries, several concussions and many digestive issues, I continue to learn all I can about the body. I love empowering people and teaching them about their own bodies just as much as I enjoy learning.

Traditional Physiotherapy addresses the muscles, ligaments, joints and bones very well, but leaves a lot on the table when it comes to understanding and working with the nerve, blood vessel, lymphatic and organ systems of the body. These systems are so key to our survival they are often what our muscles are trying to protect. Treating only the top layer of the issue will result in it resurfacing sooner or later. Assessing and treating these deeper systems of our bodies gives greater and more lasting results and taps into the innate intelligence of the nervous system to self correct and heal.

When I’m not working I can be found at the gym training the snatch, clean and jerk, or squatting. I also enjoy walking, skiing, pilates, salsa dancing, and yoga.
